The Nursing Research Innovation and Development Centre of Lisbon (CIDNUR) will hold its 3rd International Research Conference on October 8, 2026.
With the theme “Wellbeing and Sustainability: Nursing Research for Global Challenges,” the conference aims to provide a space for critical reflection, scientific sharing, and collaborative knowledge-building around the contemporary challenges facing the nursing profession and discipline. In a world marked by rapid social, environmental, and technological changes, the well-being and sustainability of individuals, organisations, and ecosystems are emerging priorities for nursing and healthcare professions.
By promoting dialogue between science, citizens, practice, and health policies, the event seeks to inspire innovative solutions and strengthen nursing’s ethical and social commitment to present and future generations.
The programme will feature internationally recognised speakers in nursing research, as well as presentations of completed and ongoing CIDNUR projects.
We invite the entire academic and professional community to actively participate in this moment of shared learning and collective knowledge-building, contributing to a more conscious, resilient, and globally prepared nursing profession.
