ESEULisboa at the Universidade de Lisboa Scientific Conference 2026

The School of Nursing, Universidade de Lisboa (ESEULisboa) participated in the Universidade de Lisboa Scientific Conference 2026, held on 16 June at the Pavilhão de Portugal – Congress Centre, in Parque das Nações, Lisbon. This annual event brought together researchers, academics, and students from various fields of knowledge, promoting the sharing of innovative projects and the strengthening of interdisciplinary collaboration under the theme“Scientific Cooperation in a Changing World.

ESEULisboa participation stood out through the selection of two scientific posters, highlighting the contribution of research conducted at the institution to innovation in health and nursing. 

The first work presented was “PULPIT: Bringing Students and Patients Together to Transform Health Education,” authored by Ricardo Ferreira, Cristina Baixinho, Matilde Rei Leal, and Andreia Silva da Costa. 

The second poster, entitled “Fragility Fracture Risk Management in Primary Health Care: A Complex Intervention Promoting Self-Care,” was presented by PhD student Tiago Dias da Silva and developed in co-authorship with Ricardo Ferreira and Andreia Silva da Costa. 

ESEULisboa presence at this important scientific event reflects the institution’s commitment to the production and dissemination of knowledge, the promotion of research, and the development of innovative solutions to current health challenges
