Caring Beyond Borders: Nursing Equity and Responsibility for the Vulnerable is a Blended Intensive Program designed to strengthen nursing students’ understanding of equity, social responsibility, and ethical practice with diverse and vulnerable populations.

The program explores social, cultural, economic, and political determinants of health, fostering critical reflection on nursing interventions with vulnerable populations across different countries and care settings.
Through international collaboration and active learning activities, students develop culturally sensitive, person-centered strategies to promote inclusion, health equity, and social justice in nursing practice.

The BIP program includes a virtual component, with synchronous sessions, as well as face-to-face week, 5 days in Lisbon at ESEULisboa – Nursing School of Lisbon.
